| 2007 Highlights: Finished the season ranked 6th in the Pro Tour points standings, 29 victories, 4 stage wins and Team General Classification Giro d’Italia, two men in the top six – General Classification Giro d’Italia, 6th Tour de France Team Classification In 2008: Spanish Pro Tour team Saunier Duval-Scott left their mark on the 2007 season, posting almost twice as many victories as they did the year before. Even more impressive was the fact that these triumphs came from 15 different riders – over half the team. They dominated the Giro d´Italia, which included stage wins, the King of the Mountains jersey, heading the teams’ classification, and placing two men among the top six in the final General Classification. Their excellent performances took them to 6th place in the UCI ProTour team rankings, their best result so far. Established in 2004 under the name Saunier Duval-Prodir, this team is one of the newer organizations in the Pro Tour peloton. Look for 3rd and 4th place 2007 Tour de Georgia overall finishers David Canada Gracia and Rubens Bertogliati, as well as Leonardo Piepoli who captured the Giro d’Italia KOM competition victory last year.
